Gold Coast Personal Branding PhotographerRecently I had the honour of photographing Rose and Sophie - sisters, business partners, and the calm creative force behind Ritual Studios, a much-loved yoga and pilates studio with three beautiful locations here on the Gold Coast.
They’d just celebrated a huge milestone - 10 years in business. A whole decade of showing up for their community, building a brand rooted in movement, mindfulness, and connection. But this session wasn’t just about marking that moment. It was about capturing them as women, as leaders, as the faces behind a studio that so many people feel at home in.
We wanted the images to reflect that next layer - not only "yoga teachers", but confident, approachable businesswomen with a clear, creative vision. Think polished but personal. Professional without the stiffness. That friendly, grounded energy they’re known for, woven through each frame.
They told me afterwards how comfortable they felt in front of my camera - and honestly, that’s the best thing I could ever hear.
We met at their Palm Beach studio and just… took our time. I explored the space first, finding the little pockets of light in each room. There were no awkward poses. No one was pushed into anything that didn’t feel right. Just quiet direction, gentle guidance, and a whole lot of trust. They moved, they laughed, We chatted and made space for them to settle into it all.
Because here’s the thing: I never want my clients to look back at their gallery and feel like it’s not them. I shoot how people are, not how they think they need to look for the internet. My job is to strip back the awkward and let the real you come through, and that’s where the magic lives.
