The Story Behind My Travel Themed Art Prints
The Sunday Club Art Prints
One vintage caravan. 35,000 km. Five adventurers. A once-in-a-lifetime eclipse...
In 2023, my little family of five took off on an epic Australian road trip — from the Gold Coast to Exmouth in our lovingly restored vintage caravan. We’d spent months getting it ready, patching, painting, fixing all the bits and pieces. It was our biggest trip yet — a whopping 35,000 km in 7 weeks.
We did it for something magical: the total solar eclipse on April 20, 2023. Exmouth, WA was one of the only places you could see it in its entirety — and standing there, watching the moon completely block out the sun in the middle of the day? That was something else. The sky dimmed, the air shifted, and the world turned strangely still. It only lasted a moment, but I’ll never forget it.
Capturing the Journey Through My Lens
Naturally, my cameras came along — both digital and my old film fave. I captured everything from wild coastlines to cactus gardens, eerie roadhouses to timeless old buildings. When we got home, I made a photobook for the family (the kids love it), but I also knew some of these images needed to be shared beyond just our coffee table.
That’s how my travel-themed art prints came to be — a collection of moments that still make my heart beat a little faster.
Art isn’t just about decorating your walls - it’s about capturing a feeling, telling a story, and turning a house into a home. Go big if you’ve got the space, cluster a few smaller pieces if that’s more your style, and choose what feels right for your home.
Featured Travel Prints
Bunda Cliffs
Right on the edge of Australia — literally. We camped terrifyingly close to these dramatic cliffs in South Australia, where land meets sea in the most breathtaking way. It felt sacred out there.
Nullarbor Roadhouse
Dusty, remote, and full of character. The kind of place where you feel time slow down. There's something about the simplicity that makes you stop and take it all in.
The Lighthouse Keeper - Landscape
Point Lowly Lighthouse (and the Keeper’s Cottage)
While the lighthouse was classic, I couldn’t stop staring at the old lighthouse keeper’s cottage. I’ve always had a thing for old buildings — give me flaking paint and rusted doors any day. I shot this one on film because it felt like the only way to do it justice.
The Lighthouse Keeper is available in both landscape and portrait.
One Way
Carnarvon Cactus Garden
The most surreal little pocket of desert beauty — quirky, sculptural, and so unexpected. It was like stepping into another world.
How I Turned Photos Into Art Prints
Each image was carefully edited and printed on high-quality, fine art paper — so they feel as good as they look. These are perfect as statement pieces or to build a gallery wall full of travel-inspired charm.

Golden Sundays Photography
Here are a few more personal favourites from my travels—images captured during the in-between moments, when the light hit just right or something quietly beautiful stopped me in my tracks. Each one tells its own little story from the road.
