How to Choose the Right Print Size for Your Space

The Sunday Club Art Prints

A simple guide to styling your art with confidence

Choosing the right art print can feel overwhelming - size, frame, placement... there’s a lot to consider. But it doesn’t have to be a puzzle. Whether you're going big with a statement piece or creating a cosy cluster of smaller works, this guide will help you find the perfect fit for your space and your style.

Sizing Tips for Your Space

  • Large walls love large prints.
A0 or A1 sizes are perfect for open-plan living, dining rooms or bedrooms. They add depth and make a statement.

  • Smaller sizes work best in groups.
A3 and A4 are ideal for gallery walls, bookshelves or little pockets of space around your home.

  • When in doubt, size up.
A common mistake is choosing something too small. As a rule of thumb, your artwork should be at least ⅔ the width of the furniture below it.

These are the most common sizes I offer, designed to suit a variety of homes:

    • A0 – 841 × 1189 mm

    • A1 – 594 × 841 mm

    • A2 – 420 × 594 mm

    • A3 – 297 × 420 mm

    • A4 – 210 × 297 mm

Art isn’t just about decorating your walls - it’s about capturing a feeling, telling a story, and turning a house into a home. Go big if you’ve got the space, cluster a few smaller pieces if that’s more your style, and choose what feels right for your home.

Still unsure? I’ve got you.

I know it’s not always easy to visualise. If you're torn between sizes, or need help creating a digital mockup of your space, I’m more than happy to help.

Contact me here to chat about sizing or send through a photo of your wall and I can mock something up for you. Easy as that.
